This is a four year full time Agri-Business Management Degree Programme affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapceth, Rahuri, Dist. Ahmednagar. (M.S.) This Programme prepares students for managerial and entrepreneurial careers in enterprises serving or dependent on agriculture and allied sectors.

The B.Sc.(Hons) A.B.M. programme is a full-time four years ( 8 Semesters) Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agri. Business Management.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

---

1. To impart education and training to the students for taking up the responsibilities for managing Agro-industry.
2. To acquire sufficient operating skill in using modern management tools and techniques in different functional areas of Agribusiness.
3. To develop adequate conceptual base in different areas of Agribusiness.
4. To encourage entrepreneurial spirit in students; to make them effective in the Agri-enterprise sector.
5. To organize seminars/discussions at the state level concern to Agril. Marketing and Agri. Business Management.

Intake capacity for B.Sc.(Hons) A.B.M. Degree programme is 120 students, having two divisions with 120 intake capacity (96 through CAP round and 24 as a institutional quota.)

Results in 10 point scale

Theory and Practical Examination is conducted by MAUEB (Maharashtra Agriculture University Education Board), Pune.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of instruction is only in English. The course material is also in English.

Centralized Admission Process (CAP)

Centralized Admission Process (CAP)

1. Centralized Admission Process is followed by CET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra after declaration of XII Science result.
2. Display or publishing of Information brochure by competent authority.
3. Filling online application form by candidate for participation in Centralized Admission Process after declaration of MHT-CET results.
4. Website for online application process is https://ug.agriadmissions.in or www.mcaer.org
5. Students must have appeared for MHT-CET 2023.
6. Display or publishing of provisional merit list, submission of grievances if any and display or publishing of final merit list.
7. Display of available category-wise seats for CAP rounds 1, 2 and 3.
8. Display of provisional allotment of CAP round 1, 2 and 3 indicating allotted institute.
9. Reporting and accepting offered seats will be as per allotment of CAP round 1, 2 and 3 by candidate at institute.
